Series 1は、第二次大戦中の1940年から1945年分を集成したもので、両大戦間期そして第二次世界大戦中、当時のチャーチル首相が各国指導者に宛てた電文、英米首脳会談の記録、英国政府高官による会議の記録など、当時の政治・外交史等を研究する上で貴重な文書が数多く収録されている。 Series ２は、内閣の諮問機関として1902年に設立された帝国防衛委員会の下部組織である石油委員会及び中東問題関連小委員会の文書を収めたもの。 Series 3は、第二次世界大戦後のアトリー労働党内閣からヒース保守党内閣までの貴重な閣議文書を収めたもの。 |
