In the open-stack room, you can directly access to the book you want to read as the shelf is open. After reading, please return the book to the original place or to the returning racks.
Books are classified into fields according to the Nippon Decimal Classification, and lined in order of call number (classification number). It is useful to remember the number of the field you specialize or are interested in.
In the 1F new-arrival magazine section, back numbers are stored inside the shelf.
* Application for reading/borrowing is received until 15 minutes before the closing hour.
On use of rare books in this library, the procedure of submitting specific kinds of application forms are required.
Photocopy of rare books is not allowed. However, it may be allowed with a condition, if the library director agrees that there is a special reason. Photocopy will be limited to a part of the materials and the reader himself/herself cannot photocopy or photograph the materials.

* A signature and a stamp of the teaching member are required on the application form from undergraduate or graduate students, regardless of the university he/she belongs to.
●Users of this university
For application, please come directly to the main counter of General Library 1F or the library counter in each campus.
After submitting the application, at least 3 days (excluding Sundays and holidays) are necessary for paperwork including the approval by the library director, until you can use them for reading, etc.
●Users from outside the university
On use, it is necessary to contact us in advance through the university library you belong to or public libraries.
For details, please ask the university library you belong or the nearest public library. (We cannot answer the direct question by phone or facsimile from the person who desires to use.)
